An Automated Workstation (AWS) is a software whose interface and functions are specifically designed for specific specialties. For example, an automated workstation for an employee of an insurance company, a gas station employee, a cashier, a pharmacist, a dispatcher, a doctor, an engineer, a bank employee, and so on.

Such systems are created specifically for different branches, which allows to facilitate the system, to provide only the necessary branch-specific functions.
