The GlobalSat Technology Corporation was founded in May, 2000. For the last few years GlobalSat has focused its efforts on GPS technologies, Bluetooth wireless and mobile communications. The company occupies the leading position on the world market in the development, production and promotion of cutting-edge information and digital technologies.

Specially for GlobalSat, Digital Zone has developed a mobile phone application that tracks the location of the object using GPS-receivers. This allows you to quickly and continuously monitor location and movement of vehicles, people and many other facilities. Now it's as easy as ABC to find stolen objects or vehicles. The service can be helpful for anxious parents, taxi companies, courier services and merchandisers.

The secret of the pocket navigator is simple. The program GPShome is installed to a mobile phone and connected to the GPS-receiver (produced by GlobalSat) via Bluetooth. All the necessary information is received to the phone: coordinates, speed, height, etc. The phone sends the information to the GlobalSat server in a certain period of time. The information is stored and transformed on the server, and a map is created based on the Google Maps API. But that?s not the half of it: the information is visualized by tracks on the map.

GPShome also takes care of the safety of its consumers. Location and movement information is available only to the user, or those to whom user gives an access to it.

The GPShome application is fully tested on the Sony Ericsson K800i platform and similar phones. The program is now being tested on other models. GPShome is exclusively supplied with GlobalSat equipment.

System requirements: any phone that supports JAVA MIDP 2.0, Bluetooth and GPRS.
